Imagine

Just something to think about with all that's going on in the world.
Sometimes the little things in life are so insignificant when you put things in perspective. I think that a lot of people could benefit from looking at things with a different point of view.

FML, ROLF, JK, BFF, IDK...

Why do people talk using acronyms? I truly don't get it, are they just too lazy to say a complete word?

The only time I do is when I want to swear, but end up being unable too, a great example is during dance, or at a large gathering. Who wants to swear then? It only has the possibility of becoming embarrassing.

Do you speak in acronyms? Which ones do you say more frequently? Why do you use them?

Oscars!

I am so excited for this years Oscars!!!

So if you don't know me in real life, you don't know about my inability to talk about anything that's not related to "Slumdog Millionaire". It quickly became my new favorite film. Not only is everything about the film phemominal, so is the soundtrack that's composed by A.R. Rahman. I hope that Slumdog takes home an award in every categorie they have been nominated for. I also like that the young childeren who played the leads at different ages are able to attend the show. I just saw a clip of the young boy that played Jamil arive... what a cute kid! Also don't remind me how great Anil Kapor is with the Oscar Trivia Questions on CNN!!!

I am also excited about the possiblity of a possible M.I.A. performance. Don't get me wrong I loved her at the Grammy's (her performance is the only thing that kept me watching, I found the show overall dull). She is up for an Oscar for her contrbution to the Slumdog Soundtrack for "Oh..Saya", and two versions of "Paper Planes".

There is also the possiblity of SRK presenting!!! (I only claim to hate him)

I love how Indian culture is slowly becoming more popular. I can remember as a kid people would think that I was so wierd, for being half Bangladeshi. I have always been proud, but now days more so.

I also hope that the late, great Heath Ledger wins Best Supporting Actor for "The Dark Knight".

A big HUGE realization

So we had auditions for the spring ballet about a month or so ago. Rehersals started two weeks ago. Things have been going fantastic. Four or five parts have been choreographed, and I'm having a great time learning the new material.
Going into auditions I knew that I wanted a lead part. I got the part of Seamist the blue fairy who acts as a "Switzerland" of sorts between different colors. I just realized now how large the part is. I had an idea of what the plot was going into auditions, but obviously didn't have enough of an idea.

I am terrified. I know that I would not have the part if our director dind't think I could handle it. I just hope I can do it justice. This shall be interesting.

random update

This blog began way back in September of 2007, for a computer class I was taking. I have obviously have completly abandoned it. I want to make a new goal to update this more frequently. I think this random need to start writing a blog came from all the great blogs I've started reading. (along with my complet inablity to write a good sentence).

So if this blog has anyone who's interested in reading, or not writing expect more posts. Come back and enjoy, or don't thats up to you.
